Introduce Yourself

You submit a flurry of applications every day, but you never get invited to interview. You’re perfect, you’re qualified, what’s going on? The key to being invited to interview is the ability to introduce yourself like a pro. Whether through a written cover letter or verbal elevator pitch, the best applicants clearly state who they are and what they want in order to stick in the hiring manager’s mind.

They say you’ve got 7 seconds to make a first impression – here’s how you can use them well.

What it is

During this WebClass, you will create a compelling message to express who you are and what you want. This message will make hiring managers want to learn more about you in an interview.

By the end of this class, you will be able to:

  • Create and deliver a personal brand – an “elevator pitch” that makes you memorable in your introduction to people
  • Create a stand-out cover letter that will get you noticed
  • Apply your personal brand to your job search assets (resume, LinkedIn profile, and more)
Who it's for
  • The exhausted applicant who wants to get more callbacks to interviews
  • The job seeker who wants to be connected to their potential dream job
  • Anyone who has struggled to compose a cover letter or generally thinks they are THE WORST
